David Paul Guadagnoli, 83, Milton, passed away at his home in Milton early Friday morning December 4, 2020. David was born in Dublin, Indiana on April 3, 1937. He was raised in Dublin and has made his home in Milton for many years. David honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps where he drove amphibious personnel carriers during the Korean War. Following his service, David returned home and worked in several local factories and at Steelman’s Plumbing. He was then hired on at McGrady’s Furniture Store in Cambridge City. Mr. McGrady sent David to school to learn how to lay floor coverings which was the start of his 40 year career as a self-employed carpet layer. In his leisure, David enjoyed fishing and sports.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, the former Kay Ann Keihn. They were married in Connersville on November 9, 1957. 2 daughters, Pamela Sue Collins and Lisa K. Guadagnoli; 2 grandchildren, Kasey Denise Hunt and Tyler Dean Collins; 2 great grandchildren, Austin Tayler Sanches and Kollyn Dennis Hunt; great-great grandchildren, Gunner Ray Sanches and Keevyn Allen Port.

David was preceded in death by his father, Ettore “Mike” Guadagnoli; his mother, Rose (Price) Beck; 2 children, Debra Pauline and David Duane Guadagnoli; 2 brothers, 3 year old, Danny K. and Donald Eugene Guadagnoli.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday December 10, 2020 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. The government mandate requires guests to wear masks when in our building. We are limited to a capacity of 25 guests, practice social distancing and please keep your visit brief. Private funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Danny Berry. Burial with military honors will be at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin.
