RICHMOND, Ind. – William Robert “Bob” Harrison, age 93, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Reid Health.
Born June 27, 1925, in Richmond, Indiana, to Linden Ray and Lorena Hughes Harrison, Bob was a life-long resident of Wayne County. He was a 1944 graduate of Whitewater High School. Bob was a Realtor, following many years as a tool and gauge inspector at AVCO. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and a former member of Chester Heights United Methodist Church. Bob was a music lover and enjoyed taking drives and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Pam (Russ) Tubesing of Richmond; sons, Tom (Sandy) Harrison of Richmond and Mike (Lily) Harrison of Westfield, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Vicki (David Komula) Harrison of Florida; grandchildren, Angela (Todd) Granthum of Utah, Amanda Harrison of Richmond, Levi (Yoko) Harrison of Canada, Abby Harrison of Utah, Anna (Anton) Miles of Ohio, Jason (Sarah) Toschlog of Texas, Jeremy (Yolanda) Toschlog of Nashville, Indiana, Matt Harrison of Florida, Jesse (Missy) Harrison of Richmond, Jonathon (Katie-Lee) Harrison of Kansas, and Billy Harrison of Westfield; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Ray Harrison of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Jewell E. Buroker Harrison, who died September 19, 2016; son, Mark Harrison; grandson, Gabriel Harrison; parents; sister, Betty Harrison Elleman; and brother, David Harrison.
Visitation for William Robert “Bob” Harrison will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with his grandson, Pastor Jonathon Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
