CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Tyler Edward Lacy Hayes, age 33, of Centerville, Indiana, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 14, 2019, in Alexandria, Indiana.
Born June 11, 1986, in Richmond, Indiana, to Edward and Sharon Thompson Hayes, Tyler was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. He was a 2004 graduate of Richmond High School. Tyler was a welder. He loved spending time outdoors, fishing, hiking, and camping.
Survivors include his daughter, Aniston Hayes of Richmond; mother, Sharon (Larry) Brooks of Richmond; father, Edward (Rachel Miller) Hayes of Richmond; sisters, Kassie Hayes of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Kristy (Jeff Spalding) Hayes, Tarah (Thomas) Shearer, Ashley Brooks, and Angela Brooks, all of Richmond; brothers, Ryan (Kaitlyn Brunner) Hayes of New Orleans, Louisiana, Ethan Hayes of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Loren Brooks of Richmond; grandmother, Helen Schnitzius of Camden, Ohio; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Callie and Earl Hayes and maternal grandfather, Perry Thompson.
Celebration of life gathering for Tyler Edward Lacy Hayes will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
