Lowell L. Nesbitt, of Richmond, was born on April 16, 1936, a son to Guy and Gladys Patterson Nesbitt.

He married Louise Jones and together they raised two children.

Lowell worked as a machinist and was a member of the Galilean Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening and wild flowers.

On Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the age of 83, he passed away at Ambassador Health in Centerville.

Those surviving who will cherish Lowell’s memory include his children, Cheryl Branson of Richmond, and Mark (Chris) Nesbitt of South Bend; four grandchildren, Josh and Kevin Branson, and Ian and Hannah Nesbitt; five sisters; three brothers, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 12 noon at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
