Hallie Maxine Thompson Revalee, 88, passed away Monday morning August 19, 2019, at Country Charm Senior Living Center in Greenwood, Indiana, after a long illness. She had previously lived in Greensburg, Indiana, for over fifty-five years. Maxine was the first child of Ray and Helen Cooper Thompson, born in Connersville on March 11,1931. Maxine spent her entire youth in Fayette County. She graduated from Bentonville High School with the class of 1949, and was a high school cheerleader and honor student. She was also a ten year 4-H member and enjoyed showing livestock at the county fair. Maxine went to college and graduated from the Reid Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. She worked as an R.N. for over fifty years at hospitals in Richmond, Muncie, Madison, and Greensburg.
Maxine is survived by two daughters, Laura Higdon (Dennis) of Nashville, Indiana, and Amy Carr (Brad) of Maineville, Ohio. Survivors also include three grandsons, Gabriel Wright of Indianapolis, Zachary Wright of Columbus, and Abram Wright of Bloomington; two granddaughters, Hallie and Audrey Carr of Maineville; two great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; a sister, Martha Wiley of Richmond; and two nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tim Revalee; ex-husband, Richard Revalee; sister, Phyllis Bryant; two brothers-in-law, Alvin Bryant and Harold Wiley; and an infant sister and infant brother.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held in Greensburg at the convenience of the family members.
