Donald Joe Devers II, 44, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away on Thursday September 5, 2019.
He was born September 10, 1974, at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia.
He worked as a Journeyman Carpenter in Clinton, Indiana, and prior to that he was a “Devil Dog” of the United States Marine Corps.
Joe is survived by his parents Don & Judy Devers of Richmond, Indiana, his brother and sister-in-law Justin & Erika Devers of Holly Springs, North Carolina, his children Davey Lewsader, Joey Lewsader, Destiny Devers, JD Devers of Clinton Indiana, and Amanda Leeann Devers of Hanford California. His nephews Cameron Devers of Holly Springs North Carolina, Tanner Smith and his wife Amber, great nephew Austin of Somerset Kentucky, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Wednesday September 11, 2019 at the Pentecostal Tabernacle in Richmond Indiana. The address is 480 W Eaton Pike, Richmond IN 47374.
Funeral services for Mr. Devers will be officiated by Pastor Tyler Luck at 12:30 PM on Wednesday September 11, 2019 at the Pentecostal Tabernacle.
Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Earlham Cemetery in the Field of Honor in Richmond, Indiana, at s 1101 National Road W., Richmond IN 47374.
Joe will be sorely missed and in our hearts forever.
