David Eugene Crane, age 63, passed away at his residence on January 3, 2019. He was born April 3, 1955, to Raymond and Anna Bernice Crane in Richmond, Indiana.
David was a lifelong resident of Wayne County and a 1973 graduate of Richmond High School. He retired from the Operators Union after giving 30+ years of service. He enjoyed paintballing, playing pool, stock car racing, riding motorcycles and fishing.
He leaves to cherish his memory his spouse: Angela Crane; children, five daughters: Angela Shouse (Joe Shouse), Christina Henry (Michael Koch), April Crane Quinn (Michael Quinn), Shaunetta Braughton, Elizabeth Braughton and son: Joshua Braughton; five grandchildren: Taylar Shouse, David Bryant III, Edessal Shouse, Phoenix Simmons and Kyra Rowland; one great grandson: David Bryant IV; one sister: Carolyn Berry; three brothers: Mervin (Dorothy) Crane, Ronnie (Diana Sue) Crane and Jerry (Laura) Crane; sisters-in-law: Regina Dunkelbarger, Evelyn Crane and Sandy Crane; brother-in-law: Gary (Heidi) Vadakin; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Ray Crane and Richard “Dick” Crane; granddaughter: Karista Rowland; brother in law: Winton Berry; and his dearly beloved pets, Goliath and Delilah Crane.
Funeral services will be held at Community Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 1:00 PM. Family and friends may visit Tuesday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
