Angel Elizabeth Howell, 47, of Milton, died Monday evening, June 3, 2019, at Reid Health in Richmond.
Angel was born in Connersville, on November 14, 1971, to Ted and Victoria Whitney Howell. She was a 1990 graduate of Lincoln High School in Cambridge City and was a member of the Early Methodist Chapel in Connersville.
Since 1999, Angel had been employed as an administrative secretary at Centerstone. She had also been employed as the secretary at Park Place Church of God , Connersville and as the dispatcher at Hockersmith Trucking in Richmond. Angel enjoyed music, especially southern gospel and anything performed by Elvis. She loved watching “Little House on the Prairie.” Angel was an ardent supporter of conservative politics.
Angel is survived by her mother: Victoria Whitney-Cooney of Milton; her brother: Aaron Howell and his wife, Charity of Fountain City; several aunts and uncles, including; Steven and Marie Whitney of Connersville, Ken and Ruth Whitney of Indianapolis, Jeanine Whitney of Connersville, Nancy Cuppy of Connersville, Minnetta “Wimpy” Conley of Riverview, Florida; and several cousins.
Angel was preceded in death by her Father; her grandparents: Vernia and Charlie Pennington, Freda Vale, Ted Howell and Francis Whitney; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2019, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, with Pastor Phil Mahoney officiating. Interment will follow in Valley Grove Cemetery, Wayne County. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. where memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, PO Box 482, Connersville, IN 47331.
