Wesley E. Belcher, 71, of Richmond died January 24, 2019, at The Springs of Richmond.
He was born May 8, 1947, in Sweetwater, Tennessee to Emerson and Mildred Arizona Arnold Belcher and lived in Wayne County most of his life.
Wesley retired from Dana/Perfect Circle after working 35 years as a Spinner Operator. After retirement he worked for Dave Kessler Auctions. He was a 1965 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He was a member of UAW Local 1363 Union, Dana/Perfect Circle 25 Year Club, and Channel 1 C.B Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on old cars trucks, and lawn mowers.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Jo Ann, one daughter Angela (Jeffrey) Locke of Richmond, two grandchildren Samuel Locke of Indianapolis and Jennifer (Tyler) Repp of Connersville, three great grandchildren Molly and Spencer Locke, and Stevie Repp, two brothers Joe (Anita) Belcher of Richmond and Glenn (Lisa) Ervin of Florida, two sisters Charlotte (Dave) Jackson of Webster and Shirley Dawson of Richmond, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Imogen Ervin.
Friends may call on the family from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday January 28, 2019, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Private graveside services will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
