Todd Andrew Suttles, 55, of Cambridge City, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

He was born on August 31, 1963 in New Castle, a son of the late Andrew Maurice and Thelma Christina (Stewart) Suttles.
Todd lived in Wayne county and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1982. He was a member of the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church in Dublin, National Rifle Association and an avid Second Amendment supporter. Todd enjoyed his job where he worked as a foreman in the electrical maintenance department at the Richmond State Hospital for 18 years until his illness required him to take leave. He loved riding motorcycles and shooting guns with his son, Michael.
Those left to cherish Todd’s memory include his two children, Michael Suttles (girlfriend: Samantha Schultz) and Brittnee Suttles both of Cambridge City; dear friend and wife of 27 years, Brenda Krick of New Castle; three sisters, Kristy (husband: Rev. Lester) Rowan of Pennsylvania, Karole Gosser of Richmond and Kathy (husband: Gary) Bowling of Richmond; special friends, Benny (wife: Wanda) Butts of Cambridge City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to thank Reid Hospice for their excellent care. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association.
Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Sproles Family Funeral Home in New Castle with Rev. Lester Rowan and Rev. Jim Tilton officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin. Friends may call from 11 – 1 prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
