RICHMOND, Ind. – Iva M. Bryant, 82, of Richmond, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at Rosebud Village.
Born May 4, 1936, in Richmond, Indiana, to Bertchel and Bertha Clark Phillips, Iva lived in this community most of her life. She retired as a head cook from Live Oak Manor Assisted Living in Sarasota, Florida. Iva enjoyed watching westerns on TV.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Miller and Vicky (Tom) Cones, both of Richmond; sons, Rick (Linda) Bryant of Alabama and Andy (Jess) Bryant of Richmond; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Tinell of Richmond, Carolyn Griffith of Liberty, Indiana, and Rosey Kees of Indianapolis, Indiana; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Bryant, who died in 1981; daughters, Debbie Bryant and Patty Hunter; parents; and several sisters and brothers.
Graveside service was Nov. 9 at Earlham Cemetery with her son-in-law, Tom Cones officiating. Arrangements were handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond.
