Glenn E. Barker passed away at his home on October 14, 2018. He was born on November 21, 1956, to John and Joyce Barker in Alexandria, Indiana.
Glenn was a graduate of Hagerstown Jr./Sr. High School, in Hagerstown, Indiana. After graduation, Glenn completed a masonry training program where he developed the skills to pursue a 30(+)-year career as a brick mason, with Beard Masonry of Richmond, Indiana. Most recently, Glenn was employed with Osborne International in Richmond, Indiana.
Glenn will be remembered, among other things, for his mild temperament and his unique sense of humor. Glenn was the sort of man who believed that taking a drive doesn’t necessarily mean arriving at a destination, that Christmas presents are more exciting when you don’t use name tags, and that life’s greatest outcomes can be determined with the flip of a coin…best two out of three.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Angie (Feltis); sons, Scott (Jackie) and Jacob (Holly); three grandchildren, Henley, Sullivan, and Marshall; and his brother John.
Those who knew Glenn, know that he never much cared to be the center of attention. Therefore, in accordance with his wishes, no funeral services will be held. Community Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Send online condolences to the family via the guestbook at www.communityfamilyfh.com
