DUBLIN- Ellen Rosemond Fink, 90, said her final earthly goodbye on November 19, 2018 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville, Indiana.
Ellen was born to Robert Roy and Maudie Bell (Harry) Sheats in Milton, Indiana on October 8, 1928. A proud graduate of Milton High School, she married Earl Frederick Fink on June 5, 1959. Together, they welcomed two daughters into the world.
As a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Ellen set the perfect example for others to follow. She was a devout woman of faith and had attended both the Cambridge City Nazarene Church and the Dublin Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church. She enjoyed music, singing in the choir, reading her Bible, gardening, sewing, caring for her family, and all things found within the beauty of nature.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William R. Sheats, and a grandson, Robert M. French.
Survivors include her spouse, Earl, and her two daughters, Carol E. (Dennis) Pentecost, and Lois K. French. She is also survived by her grandchildren Shannon N. Thompson, Fred E. French, and Joseph E. (Christina Hopkins) Pentecost. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Brandon M. Sizemore, Logan R. French, Brylie A. Sizemore, and soon- to-be born Willow Rose Pentecost. She is also survived by her dear niece, Anita A. Donica and family, three nephews, her family of caregivers at Ambassador, and countless friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday November 26, 2018 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Rev. James Tilton will officiate. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday November 25th.
