GREENWOOD, Ind. – Barbara Ellen Bowsman, age 91, formerly of Centerville, Indiana, died Sunday, January 7, 2018.
Born October 6, 1926, in Richmond, Indiana, to Everitt and Jessie Schlosser, Barbara lived in Centerville until 1975. She graduated from Richmond High School. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, dogs, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Steve (Susan) Bowsman of Greenwood, Indiana, and Mike (Kris) Bowsman of Port St. Lucie, Florida; grandchildren, Julie Bowsman and Jodi Bowsman; and great-grandson, Ethan Bowsman.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Eugene J. (Ike) Bowsman; her parents; and brother, David (Berneice) Schlosser.
Barbara was laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville, Indiana. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
