Duane O. Keiser, age 80, of Richmond, Indiana, went to meet the Lord Friday, March 23, 2018, at Reid Health surrounded by his loving family.

Born June 29, 1937, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Frank and Margaret Hunnicutt Keiser, Duane lived in Cambridge City, Indiana, most of his life. He was a 1955 graduate of Hagerstown High School. Duane was a member of Living Faith Church of God. He retired from Perfect Circle. Duane loved horses and was one of the oldest quarter horse jockeys until his retirement in 2004. He then went on to train and breed quarter horses. Duane was inducted into the Indiana Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in 2013.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Diana Mullins Keiser; daughter, Rhonda (Mike) Dunne of Springfield, Illinois; son, Justin (Daryn) Keiser of Shelbyville, Indiana; grandson, Matthew Duane of Fort Wayne, Indiana; nieces; nephews, cousins; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brett Keiser and parents.

Funeral services were Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Henderson officiating. Burial was in Jacksonburg Cemetery.
