CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Malcolm R. “Mike” Fulton, age 92, of Centerville, Indiana, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday, March 8, 2018.
Born July 26, 1925, in Abington, Indiana, Mike was the oldest of five children born to Clarence Ray and Doris Ethel Lemmons Fulton. He graduated from New Washington High School, when his parents moved there during the war. Mike came back to Centerville and met the love of his life, Mary Jane Longenecker. They were married July 12, 1947, and were blessed with two children, Greg and Teresa. Sadly Greg lost his life in an auto accident, at age twenty.
Mike was a member of the Centerville Christian Church, Masonic Lodge, Indianapolis Murat Shrine, and Elks Country Club. He will probably be best remembered by the people he helped in his 50 plus years as part owner of Remsco. After retirement in 1996, Mike got his Real Estate Broker License, Ham operator license, and started playing golf. He spent winters in the south and summers sitting on the back of his houseboat watching his grandchildren jet ski. Mike had a passion for life but his main passion was his family. He loved his family and they loved him so much. 2 – 3.
Mike is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Jane Fulton; daughter, Teresa (Wayne) Duke; grandchildren, Corey (Toni) Duke and Lacey (Andy) Spiguzza; great-grandchildren, Brittan Caroline Duke, Tenley Marie Duke, and Duke Gregory Spiguzza; sister-in-law, Marilyn Fulton; nieces; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Malcolm Fulton; parents; sister, Nancy Warren; and brothers, Tom, Melvin, and Neil Fulton.
Visitation for Malcolm R. “Mike” Fulton will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018, at Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Sewell officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
