Robert Eugene Hall, 83, of Connersville, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at The Springs of Richmond.
A son of Carl and Helen Schroy Hall, Robert was born on May 19, 1934, in Kitchel, Indiana.
He graduated from Williamsburg School with the class of 1952. Following graduation, Robert joined the United States Army where he served in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He retired with the rank of Sergeant First Class in the Army Motor Pool after 24 years of service.
Robert lived most of his life in Texas, moving to Indiana in 2013. In 2015, he married his high school sweetheart, the former Donna Hinshaw. Mrs. Hall survives.
He was a member of the Centerville Nazarene Church and Country Harvest Cowboy Church and in his leisure time, enjoyed making various items in his wood shop.
Besides his wife of two years, Donna Hall, Robert is survived by three sisters, Janet Gard, Linda Faugh, and Judy Lankford; a brother, Richard (LeAnn) Miller; and a sister_in_law, Janet Smith.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and several sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Centerville Church of the Nazarene, 7181 US_40, Centerville, Indiana 47330. Pastor Trevor Stanley, Reverend Denver Conway, and Reverend Ron Karkowsky will officiate. Burial with military honors provided by the Lawrence H. Bertsch American Legion Post 169 will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Cambridge City, Indiana. Friends may call at Centerville Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, Connersville, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
