CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Jeremy Lee Stone, age 30, of Centerville, Indiana, died Sunday, July 23, 2017, at his home. Jeremy was born on May 16, 1987, in Batesville, Indiana, to Larry Stone and Donna McDaniel Stone. He loved his job as a professional picker, traveling around the country with his dad. Jeremy was a long-time member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County and Camp Guy. He enjoyed playing basketball, disc golf, and fishing.
Jeremy was an avid Bengals fan. He was always willing to help anyone. Survivors include his father, Larry Stone (Seth Thomas) of Centerville; mother, Donna Stone of Batesville, Indiana; brother, Eric Stone of Harrison, Ohio; sister, Elizabeth Paige Stone of Metamora, Indiana; maternal grandmother, Dorothy McDaniel of Metamora; niece, Addilyn Stone; nephew, Brayden Stone; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charlie McDaniel; paternal grandparents, Eva and John Stone; and recently by cousins, Amber Hickman and Chris Hickman and uncle, Steve Stone. Visitation for Jeremy Lee Stone was from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Owens and Rev. Eldon Harzman officiating. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery.
