RICHMOND, Ind. – David H. Bennett, age 70, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Ambassador Healthcare.
Born June 13, 1946, in Richmond, Indiana, to Jack and Betty Bennett, David was a life-long resident of this community. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose. David was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Cambridge City, Indiana. In his youth, he enjoyed spending time at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County. David was a Cincinnati Reds and Indianapolis Colts fan. He enjoyed going to church and spending time with his friends. David loved life.
Survivors include his guardian, Emily Jarvis; many good friends; and a sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for David H. Bennett will be from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Jones officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
