The Knights entered the May 12 game at Winchester tied for the league lead as one of the two undefeated teams left in the race. Winchester threw a wrench into Northeastern’s plans.

McCormic Anderson shut out the Knights in a complete game performance, only allowing two base hits. The Falcons scored all the runs they would need in their first at-bat, putting four runs on the scoreboard en route to an 8-0 win.

Anderson helped his own cause with three base hits, including a solo home run. Bryce Weigand had two hits and Jacoby Addington hit a three-run homer. Riley Isaac suffered the loss.
