Residents of Richmond and Wayne County can request delivery of a Thanksgiving meal from Circle U Help Center.

Circle U will stop taking orders on Nov. 16 for meals.

Staff and volunteers plan to prepare, assemble and deliver more than 650 meals on Thanksgiving morning.

Meals include turkey donated by Reid Health, rolls, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, dressing and Wick’s Pies.

Reservations are requested at circleu.org/thanksgiving-meal-sign-up. There’s a limit of six meals per address/household.

Financial donations can be sent to P.O. Box 491, Richmond, IN 47374. Nonperishable foods can be delivered to 19 N. 13th St., Richmond, between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesdays, when hot lunches are served. A food pantry is open on the third Saturday each month from 2-4 p.m.

Circle U will be closed from Nov. 28-Dec. 1 and Dec. 24-Jan. 3.

Cambridge City meals

Western Wayne Schools leaders and volunteers are planning their third annual free Thanksgiving dinner.

The meal is offered from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Lincoln Middle/High School’s cafeteria, 205 E. Parkway Drive, Cambridge City. Deliveries are available by request.

Reservations may be made by calling 765-478-5375 or through a short online form at wwn.to/cctgiving24.

Financial contributions are being sought before the meal. Checks may be made payable to Western Wayne Schools and sent to LMHS. More information about donating is available at 765-478-5375.

Meals for adults

  • St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church is again announcing the Terry Cox Memorial Dinner. The full Thanksgiving meal for anyone 55 or older is served at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10. Reservations are required. The meal takes place at Father Luerman Education Center, 333 W. Maple St. To-go orders are available upon request. Reservations may be made through Western Wayne Senior Center at 765-478-4579 or wwseniorcenter@comcast.net.
  • On Tuesday, Nov. 26, the Senior Adult Ministry group offers a free holiday meal in Richmond as part of its monthly meetings series. It’s open to any area resident age 50-plus regardless of religious affiliation. The gathering begins at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 318 National Road W.
