Kelsey Green and Storm Whalen, both of Richmond, enjoy fire performers, such as Katey Jennings (below), during a Sept. 13 block party after completion of the Loop project’s Phase 2 on East Main Street.
The block party featured free food and music. “I’m really glad they put it on,” said Green, who said it was sometimes difficult getting to work at Dudas Law on East Main.
Whalen said: “I came for the food, and I stayed for the fire.”
