Police will collect unwanted medications Saturday
Two Wayne County police departments will collect unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications for proper disposal. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration sponsors the nationwide effort to keep the medications from entering the water supply or falling into the wrong hands. The last collection in October 2024 involved 4,644 sites nationwide and collected 629,953 pounds of medications. […]
