A Wayne County man was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a motorcycle accident at Indiana 1 and Delaware Street in Cambridge City.
At approximately 4:40 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, a gray Hyundai, driven by John R Toney, 76, of Cambridge City, pulled out of the parking lot of CVS onto Delaware Street and struck a black Harley Davidson being driven by Mark S Prather, 68, of Pershing, Indiana, according to Indiana State Police’s Joshua Bayly.
Prather was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Toney was tested for drugs at Reid Health in Richmond, and Bayly said the test showed that there were no narcotics in his system at the time of the crash.
Prather was alert and conscious at Methodist when troopers checked on him. He was still in the hospital Friday.
