Angela McDaniel, health educator for Wayne County Health Department, made an approximately 2-minute video showing some options on how to make masks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
“Please don’t leave home without it!” the health department’s post said about masks.
McDaniel shows how to make a mask from a cut-up T-shirt and ponytail holders or rubber bands.
She encourages using items such as panty liners in masks made of thin materials, such as decorative scarves.
