The Richmond Lady Red Devil golf team won the Indiana High School Athletics Association Richmond sectional played at the Richmond Elks Country Club on Friday, Sept. 19. The Lady Red Devils posted a team score of 343 to advance to the regional to be played on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Edgewood Golf Club in Anderson.
Union County and Centerville also advanced to the regional round as teams.
Ava Bales and Julia Beatty from Northeastern and Lillian Scott from New Castle advanced to the regional as individuals.
Hannah Stearley from Richmond posted a round of 77 to earn medalist honors. Emma Staton from Centerville finished second with a score of 80.
