Organizations continue to offer opportunities for seasonal giving across the region.

Reid Health Auxiliary is accepting $5-or-more donations to sponsor ornaments on the Blue Brigade Volunteer Auxiliary’s nine-foot Celebration of Love & Life Tree. The ornaments — angels, stars, and snowflakes — support patient care, medical equipment, technology, and community programs. Forms are available at the hospital concourse, information desk, or volunteer services. Donations and forms are due Friday, Dec. 19.

228 Club celebrates its 45th birthday with a family-friendly drop-in event from 1-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20. Attendees can donate coats, scarves, gloves, blankets, or comforting foods. New Day Kiwanis will deliver Love Baskets of food to western Wayne County residents who applied for assistance on Dec. 20. Donations of checks or money orders can be sent to 1010 E. Main St., Cambridge City.

Cambridge City Christian Church distributes new throw blankets and nonperishable foods through its food pantry and clothing closet. Western Wayne Schools residents may receive food, blankets, and gently used clothes Saturday, Dec. 20, 9-10 a.m., with proof of income. Deliveries of donations are accepted 8 a.m.-noon weekdays at 106 W. Church St., Cambridge City.

Townsend Community Center still has Angel Tree tags at First Financial Bank, 3433 E. Main St., Richmond. Wrapped gifts should be returned by noon Saturday, Dec. 20. The center also offers a public giveaway of food, toys, coats and other items from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at 300 N. 10th St.

Toys for Tots at Whitewater Valley Marine Corps League distributes toys Dec. 20, 7 a.m.-4 p.m., at 200 S. Ninth St., Richmond, serving children ages 0-18 from five Indiana counties and Preble County, Ohio. Registration is in person; parents must bring photo ID, proof of address, and proof of each child’s birth date.

Jeffry’s Elves toy giveaway runs 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Crosspointe Biker Church, 1130 E. Baseline Road, Connersville, with no registration required.

Animal Care Alliance sells handcrafted $5 ornaments to support low-cost veterinary care and wildlife rehabilitation. Available weekdays, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at 1353 Abington Pike, Richmond. For more information, call 765-488-2444 or visit animalcarealliance.com.

Boys & Girls Club of Wayne County, Hagerstown Unit, is collecting gently used imaginative play toys for delivery after Jan. 5, 2026, at 299 N. Sycamore St., Hagerstown.

Earlier holiday efforts include the Depot Festival of Trees, which raised $45,000 for local nonprofits, Lincoln High School Student Government Angel Tree shopping, Hayes Arboretum’s $35,000 fall fund drive, and Nettle Creek Schools’ collection of 1,450 food items.
