The family of Ron Hoover gathers June 27 at the Wayne County Fairgrounds to dedicate the new gazebo in his memory.
Hoover, a Hagerstown-area farmer and member of Wayne County Farm Bureau’s board and Wayne County Inventory Resources Council, died in 2020. Wayne County Farm Bureau donated the gazebo for his service to the community.
Among family members are sister Joy (seated right) Curless and son Ron (Zsani) Hoover (fourth from left) and daughters Heather (John) Kogge (standing third from right) and Erica Hoover Smith (standing fourth from right), as well as his grandchildren.
Lincoln Golden Eagle Industries at Lincoln High School created the sign with a picture of Hoover on his antique John Deere.
