Richmond Art Museum’s Secret Garden Tour will be June 28 and 29.

The annual fundraiser provides participants an opportunity to visit gardens in Richmond and Wayne County. It also includes a Garden Vendor Market for participants to browse lawn and garden booths featuring unique landscape items. Plein air artists will paint the gardens during the tour, with many of the paintings on sale at the museum during the tour.

The tour will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 28 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 29. Advance tickets are $15 and available at the museum or online at richmondartmuseum.org/product/secret-garden-tour-ticket/. Tickets purchased on tour days are $20 and only available at the museum, 350 Hub Etchison Parkway, Richmond.

Richmond Art Museum will also host a “paint out” on July 12.

Watch for plein air painters throughout Richmond and Wayne County as they record local scenes and landscapes. The paintings will be shown and sold from 5 to 6:30 p.m. that day at the museum.
