Farmers markets are welcoming vendors to begin registering. Here are some local markets at a glance.
- Cambridge City: Although a location is being finalized, the downtown market will be open from 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays (June 7-Oct. 4). 765-969-4824 or ccitymainstreet@gmail.com
- Centerville: The market, now part of Main Street Centerville, opens at 4-7 p.m. Saturdays along Crown Creek Boulevard, next to Maplewood Park, from June through October. Limited craft vendors are allowed. Vendors’ season passes are $150; daily passes, $10. A callout meeting takes place at 6:30 p.m. March 31 at The Barn at Helm, 5544 Helm Road, Williamsburg. rubyredfarmIND@gmail.com
- Hagerstown: The tentative schedule is 1-6:30 p.m. Fridays (May 2-Oct. 3) at 15555 Turnpike Road (at intersection with Indiana 38). 765-914-5213
- Richmond: The indoor market runs from 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays until April 26 at Starr Gennett Building, 101 S. First St. The outdoor market opens May 3 at Elstro Plaza, 47 N.
