- Winchester’s Antonio Higgins completed his program at Cedarville University, earning a bachelor of music.
- Indiana Connections Academy — a full-time free public virtual school — saw seven students graduate: Centerville’s Madison Moore; Hagerstown’s Shelby Finney; Williamsburg’s Daisee Spence; and Richmond’s Alanna Ginn, Alexis Heath, Grace Hoos and Riley Sherrow.
- University of Evansville had seven area students on the Dean’s List for the Spring 2026 semester. They include Izzabelle Beaty of Connersville, New Castle’s Lexy Jarvis and Colton Kemerly, Kayne Ervin of Greens Fork, Richmond’s Carter Heaston and Mary Jetmore, and Shirley’s Lilliana Lynch.
- Wade Timothy Toth of Knightstown has been named to Wofford College’s spring 2026 Dean’s List.
- Point Park University named Richmond’s Blair Witte to the Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester.
- Union City’s Alexis Stum and Mizraim Contreras-Morales of Richmond both made Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College’s spring Dean’s List.
- Richmond’s Jazlyn Deane was named valedictorian of Indiana Gateway Digital Academy’s class of 2026. Deane also took courses at Ivy Tech and IU East, and she was president of the National Honor Society. Deane will attend IU East to pursue a major in business or nautical science this fall.
- Freshmen Portia Cate and Bowman Shadle; sophomores Ella Black and Coltyn Keiser; juniors Madison Adkins and Landen Schlotterbeck; and seniors Victoria Beatty and Landyn Keiser were Centerville High School’s Bulldog Pride Award winners. Voted on by faculty, recipients are judged for their kindness, hard work in and out of the classroom, pride for school, and community and being an all-around likable person.
- Hagerstown senior Sophie Senese received the Culberson Family & Reid Health Scholarship. The one-year scholarship of $1,300 goes to a HHS student seeking a degree or certificate in healthcare, emergency services or mortuary science. Senese begins her pursuit of a career in forensic pathology at Purdue University.
- Richmond’s Zaine Gutierrez-Valenzuela earned a spot on Eastern Connecticut State University’s Dean’s List this spring.
- Two New Castle natives made the Dean’s List at University of Alabama. Congratulations to Kinadee Flynn and Paul Huynh.
