A Chipotle restaurant recently opened on a Chester Boulevard-facing lot in front of Richmond’s Meijer store.
Soon, a dental office could be built on land just east of the Chipotle.
Richmond’s Advisory Plat Committee approved 4-0 a petition to split off 0.929 acres from Meijer’s 21.575-acre parcel for development of a dental office. The parcel is between West Cart Road and the north side of Meijer’s parking lot, and it’s east of the access road that also serves Chipotle.
The parcel is zoned general commercial.

The plat committee also approved two other requests 4-0.
A 4.86-acre plot already developed with an existing residence will be split from the 68.75 acres at 3426 Union Pike. The rest of the parcel is used for agriculture.
A 1.402-acre area and a 0.457-acre access easement will be separated from the 8.213 acres at 800 Mendelson Drive, allowing an existing structure to be converted into a house.
