Heather Crull

IndianaMat has been a premier source of information for amateur wrestling in the state of Indiana since 2008. IndianaMat selects a Gorilla of the Year in both boys and girls high school wrestling and the elite designation is only given to seniors.

They are voted on by a group of coaches, past winners, media members, school administrators and others with deep ties to the wrestling community.

This season the IndianaMat staff could not narrow their choice to one wrestler for Miss Gorilla, deciding that there were three extremely accomplished girls who deserved the Miss Gorilla award designation. They were Mallory Winner from Jay County High School, Julianna Ocampo from New Haven High School and Heather Crull from Northeastern High School.

The Mr. Gorilla award for the 2024-25 season went to Jake Hockaday from Brownsburg High School.
