The Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce will present its Community Improvement Awards on Sept. 10 for projects that have enhanced the community.
Depot Festival of Trees, an annual Christmas event, will receive the Community Spirit Award.
Nominees for the Exemplary Award and Community Impact Award are:

- Best Western Classic Inn
- Centerville-Abington Community Schools’ bus garage
- Dougherty Orchards’ outdoor pavilion
- Earlham College’s softball field and athletic building
- Earlham Commons
- Hank’s Pet Lodge
- Treaty Line Vineyards and Pilgrimage Wine Company
- Wayne Bank’s east-side Richmond branch
- Winding Branch Golf Course
The awards banquet will be 5:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at Hartley Hills Country Club, 201 N. Woodpecker Road, Hagerstown. Cost is $25, and tickets are available at wcareachamber.org.
