A nonprofit mobile cat spay-neuter clinic will visit Liberty on May 31, Rushville on June 2, New Trenton (Franklin County) on June 7 and Connersville on June 8.
Appointments are available from Public Vet with a $10 deposit.
Those needing financial assistance are encouraged to apply at pub.vet before making an appointment. Organizers say “great” help is available.
Pet Friendly Services SNAP/CCP vouchers covering the full surgery cost can be used.
“We strongly advise against allowing financial limitations to prevent you from seeking medical attention for your cat,” the website says. “Let’s work together to find a solution.”
The standard price is $100 for an exam, spay/neuter, pain medication, ear tattoo and essential services determined by the veterinarian.
Those with medical questions can call 707-599-1553.
