The Seton Catholic volleyball team traveled to Winchester Community High School on Monday, Sept. 23, to play the 2A Falcons.

The Falcons, who have four 6-footers in their lineup, used their size advantage to cause defensive problems at the net. The Falcons blocked 10 Cardinal kill attempts during the match en route to 3-1 win.

The match was tied at one set each before the Falcons won the next two sets to close out the match.

All-State candidate Bryn VanVleet delivered 21 kills for the Cardinals, currently ranked 13th in the 1A poll. The Falcons are 29th in the 2A poll.
