A nationally known classic rock band is coming to Darke County, Ohio, next summer.

Bachman-Turner Overdrive, featuring Randy Bachman, will perform Thursday, Aug. 22, at The Great Darke County Fair.

The band is known for hits such as “Taking Care of Business,” “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet,” “Let It Ride” and “Down to the Line” that helped sell more than 40 million records. 

Randy Bachman is a 2024 Songwriters Hall of Fame nominee along with his former Guess Who’s member Burton Cummings for their “American Woman,” “These Eyes” and “No Sugar Tonight.” Additional nominees include Bryan Adams, Tracy Chapman and Kenny Loggins. 

Tickets are now on sale for $35 for grandstands and bleachers and $40 to $55 for track seats. Handicapped accessible seats are available by calling 1-800-736-3671.
