As of 5 p.m. April 15, Reid Health has received 39 lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 tests, and continues to have 48 patients in containment areas at the hospital. A total of 364 COVID tests have been submitted for processing.
Because of the lag time in state-reported data, Reid Health is sharing with the community its own data.
This data no longer includes the number of negative tests results as studies are showing a relatively high “false negative” outcome of testing.
As of April 15, Indiana has 8,955 COVID cases. There have been 436 related deaths in the state, according to Indiana State Department of Health.
