The entire community of Fountain City is now under an advisory to boil its water until further notice.
Town officials sent out an alert shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, to announce the advisory.
When a portion of Cambridge City had a similar alert in late January, town officials said water for human consumption should be brought to a complete boil for at least 5 minutes before use.
At 1:15 p.m., residents were alerted that the construction crew hit a water main and that several residents would be without water until repairs were made.
