Matthew “Cheu” Ryan Baxter, 39, of New Castle passed away Monday, October 17, 2022. He was born July 7, 1983 in Richmond, IN, a son of Alan Baxter of Dry Ridge, KY and Linda (Blevins) Kurtz of New Castle.
Known as the family clown, Matthew had a great sense of humor and was always able to make people laugh, especially in tough situations. He was a very thoughtful helpful person as well. Cheu loved tinkering with things and could make something out of nothing; he was very handy.
In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by his wife, Jennifer Jackson of KY; his children, whom he loved very much, Kayla Marie Hammonds, Keygon Baxter and Kyndsee Baxter; siblings, Jeremy Baxter of Richmond, Brandi Baxter of KY, Brittany (Phillip) Konkle of Columbus, OH and Reavyn Kurtz of New Castle; special friend, Megan Bottoms.
