Doyt “Butch” Earlywine, 87, of Centerville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday evening, September 21, 2022 at his residence.
He was born February 16, 1935 in Rushville, Indiana, one of seven children of Ollie C. and Bertha Richey.
A veteran, he served with the Indiana National Guard.
For many years, he owned and operated a commercial construction company and later was employed as an inspector for the Indiana Weatheratron Program.
On July 23, 2000, he married Constance “Connie” L. Adams, and that same year they moved to Panama City, Florida. Butch then became employed as a security guard for Eastern Ship Builder’s Group in Panama City. In 2008, they returned to this area for residence.
He was a member of Greater Vision Church. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, horseback riding, and conch shell hunting. He also loved attending bass fishing tournaments.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Connie Earlywine; seven children, Gerald, Sharon, Romana, Layvelia, Joy, Miranda (Jai), and Donald; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Moistner of Centerville, Indiana; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy; a grandson, Andrew; four brothers, William, Robert, Earl, and Howard; and a sister, Mildred.
Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Eric Hickman officiating.
