Frances Hays, age 92, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Arbor Trace.
Born February 27, 1930, in Seco, Kentucky, to Bruce and Bessie Oney Rudd, Frances lived in Richmond most of her life. She was a hairdresser and owned and operated the Blue Spruce Salon. Frances was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 167, Hairdresser Association of Indiana, and Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Gaynell DeLucio of Richmond; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Jim Hays; her first husband, Everett Lee Fultz; daughter, Carolyn Cole; son, John Fultz; parents; three sisters; and two brothers.
Visitation for Frances Hays will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Holman officiating. A private burial will be in Goshen Cemetery at a later date.
