Bonnie Roberta Anderson, age 78, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, July 2, 2022, at her son’s home surrounded by family.
Born October 22, 1943, in Harriman, Tennessee, to Millard Edward and Margaret Blanche Gray Hendrickson, Bonnie lived in this area since 1984. She was retired from Amcast in Richmond and had also worked at Olan Mills and as a substitute teacher. She had many interests including reading, a widowed persons group, puzzles and word searches, prayer quilt group at church, western movies and tv shows, and attending church (anytime it was open). Bonnie enjoyed watching sports. She was a huge Peyton Manning fan, Colts fan, Pacers fan, University of Tennessee football and basketball fan, Indiana University basketball fan, and enjoyed watching golf and any sports that were on television. Her greatest joy was visiting with friends and family. Survivors include her son, David (Tammy) Howard of Richmond; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter; brother, Crandle George “Buddy” Hendrickson of Kingston, Tennessee; fourteen nieces and nephews in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cecil Gray and Alfred Anderson; parents; siblings, Betty Rucker, Alvin Hendrickson, Millard Hendrickson, and Anna Belle Hendrickson; and two nephews.
A memorial service for Bonnie Roberta Anderson will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Sugar Grove Community Church, 6404 Sugar Grove Road, Richmond, Indiana 47374 with Rev. Adam Rinehart officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
