Sarah Marie Reece, 38, of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Hancock Regional Hospital following a brief battle with bone cancer. She was born November 1, 1983 in Indianapolis to Russell Reece and Melissa (Gibson) Low.
Sarah was a 2002 graduate of Greenfield Central High School and later attended Indiana Business College for Culinary Arts. She has worked at various restaurants around Greenfield. She loved camping, bonfires, fishing, and her many pets but mostly loved spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her parents, Russell Reece of Lewisville and Melissa (Mark) Low of Greenfield; fiancé, Ashley McDonald; siblings, Tia (Maddy) Reece and Sean Reece (Jerika); grandfather, Robert Gibson; grandmother, Joyce Butler; niece, Baylie Reece; nephews, Jace and Hayden Reece and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kienan Lynn; maternal grandmother, Margaret Gibson; paternal grandparents; Richard Reece, Peggy and Gene Bottoms and Richard Butler.
A memorial gathering will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sarah M.
