New Castle – David “Mac” Hoy, 61, of New Castle, passed away Monday evening October 17, 2016 at I.U. Ball Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
David was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 2, 1955.
He was raised in the Dublin community and attended school in Dublin and Cambridge City. David served his country in the United States Army (1972-1974) and was stationed in Germany. He had worked at the New Castle Kentucky Fried Chicken for several years and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, the former Sandra Kay Hughett. They were married in Lewisville Park on August 6, 1983. 2 children, Joseph David and Lora Elizabeth; 1 sister, Brenda (Larry) Logan of Vanceburg, KY.
David was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Leslie Hoy Sr., on July 17, 1993 and mother, Lora Luella (Stoltz) Hoy on July 19, 1967; 1 brother, Lowell L. Hoy Jr. on January 26, 2007.
