Mary E. Warner, age 101, formerly of Centerville, Indiana, died Friday, April 23, 2022, at The Meadows of Leipsic.
Born July 23, 1920, in Fayette County, Indiana, to Cloyd and Lillian Pike Porter, Mary was a life-long resident of Centerville before moving to Leipsic in 2003. She retired as the secretary of Centerville-Abington Community Schools. Mary was an active former member of First Baptist Church as a Sunday school teacher and a participant in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF).
Survivors include her daughter, Carole (Fred) Pentecost of Fort Wayne, Indiana; son, Brian (Janet) Warner of Upland, Indiana; four grandsons; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Gilbert M. Warner, who died on December 12, 1998; two sisters; and three brothers.
There will be no public services for Mary E. Warner. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
