Tammy J. DeLucio, 57, Richmond, passed peacefully in her sleep on April 15, 2022. She was born to James H. DeLucio and the late Etta G. DeLucio in Richmond, Indiana on February 23, 1965.
Tammy worked within the education system in Richmond and was a long standing member and secretary of the women’s auxiliary for the Eagles Lodge in Richmond.
Anyone who interacted with Tammy quickly understood that she was full of sass and was not afraid to stand for what she believed in. She enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family, playing card games and could be found gaming with her friends online. Tammy was an avid fan and collector of Mickey Mouse and enjoyed many trips to Walt Disney World. She will be loved and missed tremendously by all.
Tammy was a wonderful mother to Joshua (Samantha) DeLucio and thankfully involved in the upbringing of her nieces: Tabetha Baker and DiAndra Ogletree and nephew Peyton DeLucio.
Tammy leaves behind great times full of laughter and wonderful stories to be shared by her parents: James H. (Carol) DeLucio; son: Joshua (Samantha) DeLucio; siblings: Jimmy DeLucio, Kristy DeLucio, Rodney (Brittany) DeLucio and Kevin DeLucio; step-siblings: Tony (Dee) Messler and Robin Baker; half-sister: Debra (Wayne) York; as well as many, well-loved aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by both paternal grandparents: Angelo (Frances) DeLucio; maternal grandparents: Carl (Kate) Smith; mother: Etta DeLucio, nephew: Rodney DeLucio Jr. and many more, to not be forgotten.
A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held April 24, 2022 from 3pm-7pm at Eagles Lodge, 75 S 12th St, Richmond, IN.
