Kay L. Stuckey, 83, of Lynn, IN passed away early Monday morning, January 31, 2022, at Reid Health & Hospital of Richmond, IN. She was born August 24, 1938, in Richmond, IN the daughter of Shirlie and Letha (Turner) Stuckey. She was a 1956 graduate of Richmond High School.
Following graduation, Kay married the love of her life, William Kent Stuckey, January 13, 1957. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending her leisure time working with crafts, both making and selling. She was known as “The Bead Lady”. She enjoyed special times with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 65 years, Kent; three sons, Steven (wife, Jackie) of Lynn, IN, Mitch of Brownsburg, IN and Jim (wife, Anna) of Noblesville, IN; seven grandchildren, Mike Stuckey, Kyle Stuckey (wife, Camille), Megan Smith (husband, Andy), Luke Stuckey, Logan Stuckey, Myah Stuckey and Mylee Stuckey; two great grandchildren, Brody and Austin Smith; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jim McLaughlin; two sisters, DeAnn Dodson and Barbara Hapner; three grandchildren, Paige, Madison and Mason.
A service to celebrate Kay’s life will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Wednesday, at the funeral home. The family is requiring mask for everyone’s safety.
