CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – James H. “Jim” Mohler, age 78, of Cambridge City, Indiana, died Friday, February 8, 2019, at Ambassador Healthcare.
Born March 29, 1940, in New Castle, Indiana, to Edward and Marie Hamm Mohler, Jim was a 1958 graduate of Lewisville High School in Indiana. He was a carpet installer who worked through Georgia Direct Carpet, Inc. Jim enjoyed racing cars and watching NASCAR and was an avid Colts fan.
Survivors include his children, James H. Mohler Jr., Randy Mohler, Jeff Mohler, Jason (Jo) Mohler, Jeanetta Mohler Dunnom, Jessica Kenekham, James Mohler, Joey Mohler, Marla (Roy) Fugate, and Barbara Durham; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Marlin E. “Toby” Mohler; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Mohler and Aaliyah Kenekham; parents; sisters, Ramona K. Griggs, Patty Mohler, and Roselyn Mohler; and brothers, William, Marvin, and David Mohler.
Visitation for James H. “Jim” Mohler will be from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
