Steven Ray Hook, 45, departed this world unexpectedly on Thursday December 2, 2021 when he went to spend the rest of eternity with Jesus. Steven was born on October 27, 1976 to Valerie and Raymond Hook In New Castle Indiana.
He lived in the Cambridge City/Richmond area all of his life. He worked in local factories. He liked to fish, play ball with his nephews, play video games and hangout with family and friends .
Steven was a gentle soul and would do anything within his power to lend a hand and help his family and friends wherever he could. To his family and friends he was affectionately referred to by his nickname “Duck”.
He is survived by his fiance Rhonda Baez-Jones, two brothers Mike Hook, John (Tina) Hook, one sister Brandi (Clayton) Hook, two nephews Darian Bishop and Braeden Bishop. Special friends, “Spotty Boy”, Peggy Jones, Aaron Jones and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Henry and Mildred Hook, his maternal grandparents Renos and Mescal Cowin, parents Raymond and Valerie Hook, brother Christopher Hook, two uncles Michael Dean Hook and Randy Hook.
There will be a private service at a later date.
